Happy Birthday Socrates!

Happy Friday gorgeous ladies! Sorry I missed you all yesterday. I took the day off work to go down for a doctors appt and some discussions about my health, then I had lunch with momma and stopped by to visit my sister before coming home and getting some blogging and business stuff done.  Fingers crossed I'm about to book my first 2014 wedding :) We also drew the winner for Sarah and I's giveaway, and it was Ms. Katie from You Betcha Baby congrats to her!!

Today is my middle "child's" birthday. Socrates is 5 today!!! I rescued him when he was almost a year old and had already been adopted, beaten and returned. He's a scaredy cat, and hates crowds, loud noises and people being behind him. I don't know what they did to him but it wasn't good, and I suspect there was a lot of kicking.

Even after all that, he's the sweetest most caring dog ever.  He doesn't like men but has slowly come around to Zack and now they cuddle on the reg.  He adores me and would rather be snuggled up with me than anything else. He loves his big brother Caesar and whenever he's scared or unsure, Caesar is who he turns to for reassurance. He loves being in the crack of the couch or sleeping on pillows like a little human, and his tubby butt finally figured out how to jump up onto the bed lol.

I can't believe he's 5 already. He's so precious and when the others Are being bad or rambunctious he's always the good one just wanting to eat and cuddle.

So happy birthday little (big) boy. I'll get you a frosty paws when I get home! :)
