| engagement party May 2011 |
I'm such a bad blogger and skipped yesterday. I had a wedding on Sunday and got home at 12:30am then passed out. I spent most of yesterday watching movies, reading blogs and getting my teeth cleaned. Planning weddings is so much fun but its definitely hard work and leaves me tired for the day. YAY for an office job that's closed on bank holidays lol.
I've still got giveaways happening;4 of them in fact, (here, here and here)and my followers number has skyrocketed. Hi new followers! I hope you all like what you see and stick around after the giveaways:) I'm almost to 400 followers so I'm sure another giveaway will be happening soon lol
Friday after work we just came home, made some steaks and relaxed. Saturday was a busy day and so was Sunday. We didnt get to spend much time together which sucks but next weekend is our anniversary so we'll get lots of quality time :)
Saturday Zack got up to head to office and I ran 8 million errands before getting all prettied up and heading to the hometown to see my longtime friend and her new baby Gavan :) after hanging out with them for a bit, I had to go meet my clients for a wedding rehearsal which took longer than expected but went well overall.
Then I got to head over to the bar I used to work at, which is a restaurant now, to meet hubs and the in laws. I got there first, walked in and the guy who owned the bar when I worked there was sitting at the bar. He's awesome and hilarious and one of the best bosses ever, so I sat down to have a drink. He loved Zack when Zack first started coming to the bar to try and woo me, and kept telling me to go out with Zack, so he credits himself with our marriage, lol. We hung out for awhile before my in laws showed up, then had a drink with them and caught up. They also gave us our anniversary gift: passes to Harry Potter World!!!! Zack and I are HUGE Harry Potter nerds (and snobs: just the movies don't count. The books are AMAZING!) and have wanted to go since it's opened, but there's always been other things that required our time or money so this is super exciting! Now to find the time to go, ASAP, lol.
We ate some dinners (I tried escargot for the first time!) and then headed to the local country bar for some drinks and line dancing for Brie's birthday. B's been my best friend since 9th grade (over 10 years!) so it was awesome to be able to take her out to celebrate. Changing pants in the car and making fools of ourselves, just like in high school, lol. After a fun night of that, and party time in the DJ booth with my friend who is the GM of the bar, I took her home then headed to my mom's house to crash hard.

I slept in Sunday, a bit, then mom made me waffles and I watched more West Wing episodes on Netflix. Zack and I recently started Season 1 and are both hooked! It's soo good! before getting ready and heading out for a 10 hour day of wedding coordinating. I met with my bride to pick up decor and her grandma, dropped gma off at the hotel and away I went to run errands, decorate, meet vendors and make sure everything was perfect!

The rabbi who officiated our wedding did this one too, so it was good to see him again. It was also good they had a Jewish wedding planner, since I had to set up the chuppah, the kiddush cup and the ketubbah signing area, and no one else had any idea what was what. It was a gorgeous black tie wedding, with adorable eclectic touches, and I met a lot of great people and business contacts. We wrapped up around 1130 and I got in the car for the hour drive home, stuffed my face with fast food (all I'd eaten was a waffle) and passed out as soon as I arrived home.

Monday was spent in bed with the dogs recovering, and getting my teeth cleaned before making dinner with hubs and finally watching last week's Scandal (OMG!) and more West Wing. I'm still dragging today, but I'm off again on Thursday for doctor's appts and mom lunch dates, so hopefully I can catch up on sleep then if I haven't already.
Again, sorry I was late on this, but I promise to do better. I think tomorrow I'm going to post some sort of about me thing, to introduce myself to all you new gorgeous ladies, since I don't expect you to read every post I've written, lol.
Happy Tuesday :) Enjoy your week!
